Frankly I used to feel the same way about Bruce in the 80's as you do, he always seemed to be straining, it annoyed me. I now realize the scope of his huge talent, and how many different ways he can sound is beyond compare to all except (rip) RJ Dio. The original cut of this song on piece of mind is amazing.
